Why do people wear waist beads?

How do I measure myself for the waist beads?
Measuring with a long tape measure:

Place a measuring tape around your waist and exactly where you want your bead(s) to sit.

Be sure to not suck in and relax your core. BE RELAXED!

Make sure the measuring is not tight or loose while measuring.

The number where the end of the measuring tape touches is your measurement.

Measuring with a ruler and string:

Wrap the string snugly around your waist or hips exactly where you want your bead(s) to sit. DO NOT measure too tight! Tightness causes incorrect measurements and possible breakage.

Cut the string where the two ends meet.

Measure the string with a ruler and provide your measurements.

Depending on how you want to wear your waist beads, you can measure yourself above your navel (Upper Waist), just at your navel (Mid-waist or Waist), or right above your hips (Low Waist).

**IMPORTANT: Remeasure yourself one or two more times for accuracy.

Is your jewelry lead, nickel, or alloy free?
​No, our charms are all factory made or imported. But we do coat our accessories with jewelry shield to protect our customers! If you're uncertain about our process, we recommend that you use a quick drying nail polish at-home for extra protection!
How long do strands last, and how long should I keep them on?
Strands can last for months up to years. In the beginning if you are not ready, You can forget and break/pop them while changing or using the restroom.

Your waist beads will ‘relax’ after 2 or more weeks. You will see your beads space apart. That is normal.
You can get beads wet, however keep in mind what type of water you are in. For example, baths and showers are fine. But if you like the beach, keep in mind that the salt and PH levels can effect the beads and tarnish the color.

Our body jewelry are like necklaces, they aren't indestructible. Due to multiple circumstances such as: tugging, friction, clothing, and poor handling, your jewelry may break when there is too much pressure put on them.
How do I take care of my strands?
ALWAYS be mindful of your beads or jewelry when removing clothing! Avoid touching your beads with oily hands and soaps.

Make sure to pat dry your beads after you shower. If hair or thread from clothes get tangled, gently remove by unraveling or cutting carefully. Remove before long periods in water to avoid tarnishing charm and beads.
Do not spray or put lotion on your beads. DO NOT yank or pull on beads. Avoid saltwater if possible.
Waist beads are adornments, so adorn them!

Can I cancel an order I have placed?
Yes, all orders can ONLY be canceled within 48 hours after the date of purchase. This goes for any changes or modifications as well. After the the 48 hours is up, no order can be changed or canceled.
